The AI Copilot: what you can ask

Mermix includes an AI Copilot that knows your plan — every allocation, the backlog, time-off, sprints, and who's overbooked. Ask it a question in plain language and it answers from your real data; ask it to make a change and it proposes exactly what it will do before anything happens.

Open it from any screen with Cmd/Ctrl + K, or the ant button in the toolbar.

Analyse your plan

The Copilot reads the same data you see and can reason across all of it at once. Try:

Answers often come back as a chart — a workload heatmap, a burn-down, a capacity bar — rendered right in the chat.

Make changes by chat

You can also ask the Copilot to do things:

For anything that changes your plan, the Copilot shows a proposal you approve first — a small confirmation card for a single change, or a full before/after preview for a bigger reshuffle. Nothing is applied until you say so, and you can un-tick individual items you don't want. If you don't like a proposal, ignore it; it simply expires.

What it costs — AI credits

Each message you send to the Copilot uses one AI credit. Your plan includes a monthly allowance (300 on Starter and the trial, more on higher plans), and a small badge in the Copilot shows how many you have left. Credits reset every month, and you can top up any time from My Account if you run low. More capable AI models are available on higher plans and cost a few credits per message instead of one.
